1. What data do we collect?<\/strong><\/p>

SCALE CANADA may collect personal data directly from you or indirectly through third parties. In accordance with the principle of minimization, we only collect data that is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed and for which you have given your consent.

2. Why do we collect data?<\/strong><\/p>

LADDER CANADA uses your personal data primarily for the following purposes:
In connection with the performance of a contract: Order and customer relationship management, customer account management and customer authentication, order payment, communications with the customer (technical and commercial support), management of pre-litigation, litigation, and unpaid debts, management of rights and requests to exercise individual rights, provision and operation of services, hosting of customer data;
For commercial and prospecting purposes: Customer knowledge and statistics and performance of our site, targeting of advertising messages, enrichment and enhancement of the customer\/prospect database;
Combating fraud and ensuring the security of our site.<\/p>

3. How long do you keep your data?<\/strong><\/p>

We only retain your data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned above or to enable us to meet our legal obligations.
Personal data used for commercial prospecting purposes may be retained for a maximum period of three (3) years from the end of the commercial relationship.<\/p>

4. Who are the recipients?<\/strong><\/p>

Your personal data may be processed by authorized personnel at ECHELLE CANADA and ECHELLE EUROPEENNE, stores in the ECHELLE EUROPEENNE network, and partners or service providers of ECHELLE CANADA and ECHELLE EUROPEENNE.
If these recipients are required to process your data outside of Canada, transfers will be carried out in accordance with the Regulations.<\/p>

In accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) dated April 13, 2000, you may request access to your personal data at any time and, if necessary, file a dispute under the conditions set out in the Regulations.
You have the right to modify or withdraw, at any time, the consent you have given us to process your personal data.
You also have the right to request the correction of your personal data in the event of an error or inaccuracy, or to update it.
Your personal data may be retained or deleted after your death in accordance with the Regulations. You have the right to instruct ECHELLE CANADA to disclose this data to a third party that you have designated in advance.
In addition, in the event of a breach of your personal data, you have the right to file a complaint either directly with our Department, whose contact details are provided in the following paragraph, or with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
